BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy
As part of the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy at IIBS (Innovations in Business Solutions), a computer or a laptop as a device is mandatory for attending all the training programs as there are assignments and simultaneous preparation for the exams.
The BYOD initiative is designed for the purpose of enhancing the student learning experience. The BYOD Policy helps students to access course material, participate in collaborative learning environments, and enhance technical skills needed in today’s workforce.
We encourage students to access their personal device such as laptop which will help them during the training period and thereafter they will be able to save all their course work and relevant accesses in their personal devices.
- Students can use their device for future reference and practice later even when they have completed the training program; furthermore, they can use the device to assist them in their search for employment.
- Personal laptops can be used for various requirements related to employment even after graduation. The device can be used for the following:
- Applications for jobs online
- Preparation of resume and cover letters
- Follow-ups for positions applied
- Correspondence with potential employers
- Maintenance of records related to job searches and responses from potential employers
- Attending virtual interviews
- Networking with professionals in related fields
