The ISTQB is responsible for the international qualification scheme called “ISTQB CertifiedTester. The CSTB (Canadian Software Testing Board) is the Canadian national branch of the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board),which deals with the examination of Software testers.

The CSTB is one of many national boards participating in the ISTQB. This education program is offered in over 47 countries. This Certification is valid for life time (Foundation Level and Advanced Level) and there is no requirement for recertification.

Pre-requisites:

The Foundation Level exam has no pre-requisites. To take the Advanced Level exam, candidates need to pass the Foundation Level exam first and must prove professional experience.
