Project Management Professional (PMP) is a credential offered by the Project MAnagement institute (PMI).The PMP Certification Exam assesses the adeptness of a professional in applying the knowledge, skills, tools, and methods that are used in project management. The Purpose of PMP exam is to improve the success rate of projects in all areas of knowledge.Proect management basically deals with nine knowledge areas. These are as follows:

The PMP exam is a computer based exam which is held by the global network of PROMETRIC testing centers. Candidate who take this computer based exam, get their result immediately upon completion.
