SAP Functional Analyst, PP- RIM

POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of SAP functional team, the PP SAP Functional Analyst, PP will provide support of existing functionality and participate in new initiatives and projects. The key role will be to analyze business problems, requirements, needs and objectives, and apply solutions to support them.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a senior PP analyst, you will identify opportunities to use specific functional capability to improve the business processes and operational efficiency with SAP system .
Develop and document the detail design and configuration of the business process
Develop functional specifications for reports, forms, interfaces, modifications and data conversions
Ensure the solutions are tested properly and signed off by super users before the system changes are moved to production environment.
Evaluate the system strategies related to new SAP R/3 components and/or SAP new dimension product implementation and recommend new initiatives when justified
Diagnose program errors and bugs with ABAP resources from both RIM and SAP support and provide the correction with accurate solutions or fixes

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science required
CPIM certification or the equivalent is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 7 years experience in the Configuration, delivery and support of all Production planning processes including outsourcing and subcontracting manufacturing operations
Integration experience with MM, FI, CO, WM, SD and QM
The candidate should have superior knowledge of supply chain planning and execution practices
The candidate should have experience in flexible planning, demand management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), repetitive and/or discrete manufacturing execution, production master data and LIS
Experience or exposure to high-tech industry business is preferred
Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or above is required
2 or more full cycle implementation project experience
SAP APO and/or ICH Experience is an asset
Experience in ABAP a plus
SAP MES is a plus

Position:
Software Tester-RIM

POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be joining a group of talented software testers working on the QNX Neutrino Real-Time Operating System. The QNX RTOS is at the heart of RIM’s Playbook and will be critical for RIM’s future handheld roadmap. Components of the QNX RTOS cover a wide range of software and hardware technologies: the kernel, device drivers, power management, and software stacks for storage devices, networking, bluetooth, graphics, audio, security and multimedia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement automated tests to verify new and existing requirements.
Propose and develop innovative improvements and additions to existing automated tests to improve coverage and testing efficiency.
Execute automated tests to verify new features and for regression testing of existing features. Report on issues found in testing and work with the QNX development team to provide adequate information for resolving them.
Record test results and prepare test reports. Verify bug fixes.
Reproduce and analyze customer-found problems. Follow workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Specialized Skills or equivalent Experience:
2 years (minimum) experience in software development or testing.
Working experience with the Eclipse development environment (or other IDE), the gcc compiler and gdb debugger would be an asset.
Strong background in software development using applicable programming languages (C, C++, Java, python) and operating systems (QNX Neutrino 6.x ;Windows XP, Vista, and 7; Linux Fedora, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and openSUSE, Macintosh Snow Leopard and Lion).
Experience in test case automation.
Strong analytical skills.
Enthusiasm, excitement, and genuine interest in Developer Tools technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and organizational skills are necessary
