SAP Ranked a Leader in the Analytics Market by Nucleus Research

WALLDORF — SAP SE was recognized by independent analyst firm Nucleus Research in the Technology Value Matrix Second Half 2014 Analytics report*. The report evaluates all participating vendors’ ability to deliver value based on usability and functionality. As noted in the report, the product strategy of SAP Business Objects business intelligence (BI) solutions is focused on providing a strong user experience, advanced functionality for analytics and scalable, flexible solutions. SAP was also ranked a leader in the Nucleus Research Technology Value Matrix First Half 2014 Analytics report** published in May 2014.

“With SAP Business Objects BI solutions, SAP emerged in the leader’s quadrant of the Nucleus Value Matrix for Analytics in the first half of this year and continues to move up toward the industry lead in the second half,” said Ian Campbell, CEO of Nucleus Research. “Through a combination of great usability and strong functionality, SAP continues to deliver value for its customers.”
The evaluation is based on user feedback on increased visibility, enhanced data consolidation and interaction capabilities, and the strength and flexibility of dash boarding capabilities from SAP. Users claimed these were key values gained with the use of SAP Business Objects BI solutions. The report highlights recent innovations in analytics, including SAP Lumira software for easy-to-use data discovery and visualization capabilities and the SAP Infinite Insight solution, which provides automated data preparation and predictive modelling to allow users to rapidly build predictive analysis models.
